How much does it cost to rent Columbia Ballroom?

Pricing varies by date, guest count, and the package you choose. Our all-inclusive wedding packages include in-house catering, bar service, tables, chairs, floor-length linens, and setup and teardown. See our pricing & packages page for what's included, then reach out with your date and estimated guest count and we’ll send a custom quote along with current availability.

How many guests can Columbia Ballroom accommodate?

Our Grand Ballroom seats up to 400 guests, and our intimate Small Ballroom is perfect for 60 guests or fewer. Outdoor ceremonies under the arbor can accommodate up to 200 guests.

What types of events can you host?

Along with weddings and receptions, we host bridal showers, baby showers, rehearsal dinners, graduation and retirement parties, celebrations of life, and other private gatherings. Our Small Ballroom is especially popular for showers and luncheons.

Where is Columbia Ballroom located and what areas do you serve?

Columbia Ballroom is at 24883 Royalton Road, Columbia Station, Ohio 44028, in Lorain County. We are conveniently located between Cleveland and Akron and welcome couples from Strongsville, North Royalton, Elyria, Medina, and throughout Northeast Ohio.

Can we bring in our own catering?

All food is made in-house by our classically trained chef/owner. You may bring in your own cake and desserts, though!

Can we bring in outside alcohol?

Per our liquor license, no outside alcohol is allowed, but we can order anything specific for you. Some additions may incur additional fees.

Are there any nearby hotels?

Yes — the Courtyard by Marriott in North Olmsted, and they also provide shuttling. We also have our beautiful Bridal House that can be rented the night before for the bride and bridal party.

Can we taste the food?

Yes. Reach out with what you would like to try and we will give you a date and time to come pick it up.

When can we set up?

Depending on whether there is a wedding the day before, you can set up on Wednesday or Thursday. Otherwise, setup would be the morning of the wedding, 8–10am.

What is the address of the Bridal House?

The Bridal House is right next door to the ballroom, at 24959 Royalton Road. It is the little grey house on the corner — you can’t miss it!

Can we leave cars overnight?

Yes! Vehicles may be left overnight as long as they are picked up by 10:00 AM the following morning.

Can we have cocktail hour outside?

Absolutely! We have a brand-new concrete patio and beverage window where our bartenders can serve drinks directly outside. Guests can enjoy Adirondack chairs, umbrellas for shade, and beautiful open-air vibes overlooking our horses.

Do you provide tables and chairs?

Yes! We provide all reception tables and chairs with floor-length linens, and our team handles the setup and teardown so you can simply enjoy your day.

Is there a getting-ready space for both partners?

Yes! The Bridal House is perfect for the bride and bridal party to get ready — hair, makeup, and relaxing before the ceremony — and we also have a designated space at the ballroom for the other partner and their group.

How early can we access the venue on wedding day?

Doors open 2 hours before event time — more hours are available upon request.

Do you offer indoor and outdoor ceremony options?

Yes! We offer both options so you always have a beautiful backup plan — no weather stress required.

Is there parking onsite?

Yes, we have onsite parking available for guests.

Can we bring in outside vendors?

We welcome outside vendors, but we also have a trusted preferred vendor list if you’d like recommendations.
